    As we continue to evolve, Avena is on the lookout for a dynamic National Account Manager (NAM) to be a pivotal force within our visionary team. This exciting role is central to our commercial strategy, driving the company’s growth through innovative sales techniques and effective customer relationship management across the United Kingdom.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive new business acquisitions with a focus on increasing year-over-year revenue.
    • Implement upselling strategies to boost revenue from existing customers.
    • Ensure customer retention targets are met, along with corresponding in-year revenue outcomes.
    • Develop framework agreements targeting Non-Mandated, Preferred Supplier, and Mandated opportunities.
    • Craft and execute comprehensive sales plans that exceed sales objectives, leveraging market analysis, competitor insights, and customer feedback.
    • Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with key national accounts, serving as the primary liaison to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to execute initiatives that improve product offerings, customer service, and market reach.
    • Utilize CRM systems and advanced data analytics tools to streamline sales processes, forecast market trends, and enhance customer engagement strategies.
    • Stay agile with market fluctuations and emerging trends to maintain Avena’s competitive edge and responsiveness to clients’ needs.
    • Uphold and advocate for Avena’s values, driving efforts that promote sustainability, diversity, and inclusion in our workplace and operations.
    • Maintain a keen understanding of market dynamics, including competitor landscapes.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics (NPS, Trust Pilot, HubSpot Feedback) and develop actionable plans to address issues and opportunities.
    • Provide regular performance updates to Sales and Client Care Management.
    • Engage with industry professionals through seminars, conferences, and training sessions to stay informed about current trends and best practices.

    The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

    • Extensive experience in sales and account management, particularly in national or key account roles within service-oriented sectors, especially in Data Security.
    • A strong track record of achieving sales targets and implementing effective business development strategies.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build robust relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
    • High proficiency in CRM systems, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite, with an aptitude for leveraging technology to drive business gains.
    • A strong ethical foundation, committed to Avena’s principles of integrity, sustainability, and diversity.
    • Proven success in enhancing customer retention and fostering relationships to maximize revenue growth.
    • The ability to instill urgency and unify teams around meaningful objectives.
    • Familiarity with established sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman – Strategic Selling Principles.
    • Demonstrable experience in Sales and Customer Management within business-to-business environments with varied service and sales cycles.
    • Capacity to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
    • Familiarity with CRM software and its effective use in marketing efficiencies and customer engagement.
    • Experience in fast-paced, high-volume transaction settings.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and overall computer literacy.
    • Eligibility to work in the UK and a clean criminal record.
    • A valid and full UK driving license.
