    Overview:

    Summary

    Join Ryder as a Carrier Recruiter, where you will be an essential player in providing exceptional recruitment services within our organization. In this dynamic role, you will focus on sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding Non-CDL, DOT Carriers experienced in delivering white-glove, in-home service with 26′ Box Trucks. Your expertise will be crucial in building a robust network of qualified carriers, ensuring we meet the demands of our current operations and future growth initiatives.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Identify, assess, interview, and recommend qualified Non-CDL, DOT owner-operators for current and emerging roles.

    • Manage the full recruitment cycle, guaranteeing an efficient process from sourcing to onboarding.

    • Establish and nurture strong relationships with carriers, site leadership, compliance teams, and internal stakeholders.

    • Facilitate a positive recruitment and onboarding journey for all carrier candidates.

    • Ensure adherence to legal regulations and DOT compliance throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

    • Provide timely updates to the management team regarding market trends and recruitment status through effective communication.

    • Position Ryder as the preferred partner for potential carriers.

    • Collaborate closely with senior operations teams, site managers, and fellow recruiters to achieve recruitment goals.

    • Monitor recruitment KPIs and implement strategies such as advertising and remote sourcing to track and improve progress.

    • Offer insights on recruitment methodologies, market conditions, and potential hurdles.

    Additional Duties

    • Use discretion and judgment within set guidelines to determine optimal actions.

    • Adhere to established processes and contribute ideas for enhancing recruitment practices.

    • Execute other tasks as required by management.

    Required Skills and Abilities

    • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the capacity to make independent decisions.

    • Amenities to work remotely and travel as needed.

    • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and various online sourcing tools.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing effectively.

    • Strong customer service focus, dedicated to fostering relationships.

    • Experience with Salesforce, RiskConnect, and OpenForce platforms is advantageous.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (4-8 years) in a relevant field.

    • A minimum of 2 years in full lifecycle recruiting.

    • Background in transportation and logistics contract management.

    • At least 2 years of experience recruiting owner-operators or drivers.

    Compensation Insights :

    The compensation for this position may vary based on numerous factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, geographical location, market data, and internal compensation structures. Candidates may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive programs based on performance. Here’s the compensation range:

    Salaried

    Minimum Pay Range:

    $70,000

    Maximum Pay Range:

    $80,000
