    Job Description

    Join our dynamic Claims Physical Damage Department at MAPFRE, where exceptional talent is welcomed and rewarded! We are currently on the lookout for a dedicated Auto Damage Claim Representative to help us adjust 1st party Express claims for Auto Physical Damage. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring you to be within commuting distance of Webster, MA, with 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely. We also welcome fully remote candidates!

    Schedule: Enjoy a Monday through Friday workweek from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST during your initial training. Once you’ve completed training, your standard hours will shift to 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.

    Compensation: Earn between $21.50 and $23.50 per hour, based on your level of experience.

    As an Auto Damage Claim Representative, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing customer experiences through effective communication and exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Communication: Provide clear, timely, and empathetic written and verbal communication.

    • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service to customers and agents, contributing positively to the Department’s tNPS score.

    • Telephone Management: Skillfully navigate the ACD telephone system, ensuring compliance with standards for message retrieval and call management.

    • Contact Management: Engage with all parties involved in a loss to assess claim exposures thoroughly.

    • Vendor Programs: Optimize the use of preferred vendors and repair/appraisal channels for efficient claims handling.

    • Complaint Resolution: Proactively address and mitigate potential consumer complaints, ensuring swift and comprehensive responses.

    • Fraud Detection: Identify suspicious claims for further investigation with supervisory support.

    • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

    Qualifications:

    Education: You should possess an Associate’s Degree, coupled with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree with 0-1 year of experience will be considered.

    Skills: Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities are essential, along with strong verbal and written communication skills. You must thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
