We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Microsoft Dynamics NAV BC Developer to become part of the Ingenica team, collaborating closely with our Technical Development Manager and Development team.

This role reports directly to the Development Manager and the Technical Product Lead, focusing on the technical design, development, and deployment of Ingenica’s innovative solutions primarily based on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC platform. You will also assist in upgrading these systems from Dynamics NAV to the latest Business Central versions.

What Your Daily Responsibilities May Include:

In this pivotal role, you will support and develop our C/AL applications—addressing development-related support inquiries and engaging with stakeholders to clarify specifications for seamless transitions. Your comprehensive understanding of our systems and architecture will be instrumental in devising effective solutions for new healthcare-focused initiatives.

You will engage in the entire development lifecycle: writing clean, efficient code, generating thorough technical documentation, estimating workload for planning and quotations, and ensuring quality through peer reviews. Whether executing in-house tasks or collaborating on third-party projects, you will adhere to Microsoft and Ingenica coding standards.

Your duties will also encompass supporting implementations of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central, managing comprehensive processes for software updates.

Your Expertise:

NAV/BC Development & Upgrades:
• Proven background in developing Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAV 2016+), involving custom solution upgrades and migrations from C/AL to AL.
• Strong technical competence in C/SIDE, C/AL, and AL programming.
• Skilled in crafting custom features utilizing AL extensions.

Technical & Functional Skills:
• Proficient in translating functional requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Excellent documentation skills for outlining technical requirements and custom development specifications.
• Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server, XML, APIs, and object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C#, Java).

Tools & Standards:
• Experienced with DevOps, GitHub, and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards along with integrated management systems.

Consultancy & Mentoring:
• Demonstrable experience in consulting for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC implementations.
• Familiarity with third-party NAV/BC tools like Tasklet Mobile WMS, Continia, and Zetadocs.
• A strong team player, ready to collaborate.
