Job Overview
In this dynamic position, you will play a vital role in determining premium rates and conducting comprehensive financial analyses and reports. You will be instrumental in supporting the Molina Marketplace ACA individual pricing process by formulating rates, preparing regulatory filing documentation, and effectively responding to any regulatory challenges. This role allows you to manage a variety of projects with diverse scales and complexities while enjoying a high degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth data analysis, assist in designing robust studies, and create compelling communications that inform strategic recommendations supported by thorough documentation.
Monitor medical cost trends by analyzing emerging data, identifying early indicators of potential issues.
Execute advanced tactics and strategic initiatives with minimal guidance.
Demonstrate subject matter expertise in at least one actuarial domain, such as pricing, reserving, risk adjustment, analytics, or modeling.
Lead analytical projects from inception to completion, showcasing your ability to work independently.
Exhibit advanced proficiency in Excel along with familiarity in additional statistical, query, or programming languages.
Qualifications
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics is required.
Professional Experience
2-4 years of relevant experience is needed; preference will be given to those with 5-6 years of experience.
Licensure and Certifications
Candidates must have successfully completed at least three actuarial exams. Those with ASA or near ASA credentials are preferred.

Salary Range: $77,969 – $135,000 / ANNUAL
