Location: 100% Remote
Shifts: Monday – Friday, between 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM CST
Training: June 2, 2025 – July 18, 2025, from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
Join our team as we seek a dedicated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician focused on delivering exceptional customer service! In this remote role, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from members, providers, and more, guiding them through the criteria-based prior authorization process with professionalism and clarity. You’ll also ensure meticulous documentation of all approvals and denials and expertly route clinical inquiries to pharmacists.
To excel in this position, you must meet certain qualifications. You will need to provide proof of an active Pharmacy Technician License or National Certification, in accordance with your state’s regulations—this can be in the form of a screenshot or photo of your license. Additionally, successful candidates must pass requisite U.S. background checks, which will include a drug screening and national criminal background check. Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment is essential, as this role will primarily involve taking incoming calls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional customer assistance via phone, guiding callers through necessary processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all transactions.
- Escalate clinical questions and requests for judgement to licensed pharmacists.
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume customer service role, ideally within a healthcare or social services context.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in an administrative support capacity.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with advanced computer applications, particularly in word processing and spreadsheets.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Education Requirements:
- A verifiable High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (national certification or state license) is required.

Compensation:
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. For this remote position, the hourly pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.98. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation across all U.S. locations. Actual pay will depend on factors such as your work location, experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. You may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on your performance and the company’s success.
