Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Global Procurement – Facilities Management, as a vital member of a diverse team of professionals at various expertise levels.
- Design, implement, and continuously enhance category strategies for optimal performance.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives within specified spend categories, leveraging a strategic approach.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to forge robust category strategies and develop effective category planning.
- Provide ongoing insights to stakeholders regarding market trends, innovative solutions, and supplier landscape knowledge.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage and navigate both regulated and unregulated complex projects.
- Align strategic procurement initiatives with business goals to maximize commercial value.
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated expertise in category management, specifically in Hard FM.
- A proven track record of strategic category management within a large, complex organization.
- Evidenced ability to deliver substantial savings in comparable business environments.
- Exceptional skills in engaging, negotiating, and influencing senior stakeholders, up to board level.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities, adapting approaches based on the type, level, and maturity of relationships.
- Experience in a large, cross-functional procurement team environment.
- MCIPS qualification is desirable, but not mandatory.
