    In the role of the Market Performance Partnership (MPP) Product Leader, you will spearhead product adoption strategies and execute initiatives for our Market Performance Partnerships. This position requires seamless alignment amongst cross-functional teams, including Growth, Engineering, and Operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to our strategic goals while effectively implementing those plans. Collaborating with various departments across Optum, you will address complex business challenges for both external clients and internal operational teams, steering our strategic direction towards enhancing overall business performance. This pivotal role acts as the chief alignment officer, coordinating diverse cross-functional groups to advance MPP objectives, which include creating a robust MPP technology stack and evolving centers of excellence integrated with the latest technologies.     Your Key Responsibilities:

    Lead Product Strategy & Execution for MPPs

    • Oversee the vision and rationale for all MPP products and services.
    • Define the “MPP Product Ecosystem,” establishing strategic direction and vision for selected products.
    • Collaborate with broader Optum teams, including Client Relationship Executives and Solution Design, to drive the rollout and adoption of the “MPP Product Ecosystem.”
    • Analyze the ecosystem of solutions, understanding their place in the value chain and identifying overlaps.
    • Engage with leadership across Optum to clarify the business impact of each product for customers and at scale.
    • Influence decisions regarding new products and strategic partners in the MPP landscape.
    • Coordinate the prioritization of investment in select products, ensuring the strategic infusion of new solutions.
    • Maintain ongoing market analysis for MPP products and services.
    • Persuasively present innovative ideas and strategies to senior leadership.
    • Ensure alignment among stakeholders on product strategy, communications, and launches.
    • Act as a thought leader and represent the market at client demonstrations, national conferences, and customer forums.

    Manage Product Launches

    • Develop and oversee multi-year roadmaps for customer MPPs, including creation, alignment, and evolution.
    • Work diligently across organizations to secure ROI and operational readiness before adopting the MPP Product Ecosystem.
    • Serve as the chief coordinator among diverse teams, aligning people, processes, and technologies to ensure effective external execution.
    • Coordinate with Product Operations and Engineering on rollout strategies for the MPP Product Ecosystem.
    • Engage with the MPP Partner Advisory Board to enhance collaborations.
    • Support go-to-market initiatives and marketing strategies, highlighting compelling MPP value propositions.
    • Collaborate across teams to define, enhance, and facilitate the release of specific product features for MPP customers.
    • Partner with Solution Design and matrix teams to optimize deals using the MPP Product Ecosystem, ensuring profitability.
    • Track benefits realization across the portfolio as the MPP Product Ecosystem is rolled out, monitoring customer adoption and ROI.
    • Act as the main liaison for third-party strategic partners.

    Essential Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare solutions.
    • At least 5 years of experience in RCM Product Management/Operations.
    • 4+ years of experience in developing and communicating project plans or roadmaps for achieving product strategy, effectively prioritizing work across matrixed teams.
    • 4+ years working with diverse teams and stakeholders to gather and document precise business and technical requirements.
    • Experience in a highly matrixed organizational structure.
    • Demonstrated business leadership capabilities, being detail-oriented, collaborative, and possessing high emotional intelligence.
    • Proven ability to present effectively to senior management.
    • Exceptional organizational skills, adaptable to ambiguity.
    • Strong analytical skills to support decision-making, including financial model synthesis and business case evaluations.
    • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

    The salary for this position ranges from $106,800 to $194,200 annually, based on various factors including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.
