    Role Overview

    Are you an industry expert in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, Digital Engineering, and MDAO? Do you have hands-on experience in both the technical and sales realms of Systems Engineering, particularly in the Aerospace & Defense sector? If you have strong connections within organizations like INCOSE and OMG and are ready to advance your career by merging your technical expertise with a passion for sales to drive impactful business growth, we want to hear from you!

    Our dynamic team is experiencing rapid year-on-year growth and is in search of a driven professional to spearhead, promote, and deliver Digital Engineering and MBSE solution sales across the Americas in the Aerospace & Defense industry.

    This role is fully remote, with travel required to foster business relationships.

    As a successful Product Sales Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the profitability and continuous growth of specific product lines. You’ll excel in identifying customer needs, crafting compelling value propositions, and articulating the benefits that Ansys innovations provide.

    Key Responsibilities

    – Drive sales initiatives for new and renewal business across designated product lines to meet or surpass revenue goals.
    – Collaborate closely with field and enterprise sales teams, as well as Channel partners, to formulate and implement strategies that enhance product and service revenue as part of comprehensive account plans.
    – Support every phase of the sales cycle, uncovering opportunities within existing and potential accounts and coordinating with the direct sales team.
    – Serve as a key communicator between sales and technical teams, sharing updates on product features, success stories, and effective strategies.
    – Build and sustain strong business relationships with current and prospective clients to generate new opportunities for our products and services.
    – Participate in industry events and trade shows, showcasing Ansys’ capabilities.
    – Design and present advanced solutions that align with identified client needs, positioning Ansys offerings as superior to competitors.
    – Organize and coordinate technical support for demos, proofs of concept, evaluations, and training sessions.
    – Collaborate with team members to create impactful written proposals, quotes, and value propositions tailored for potential customers.
    – Provide valuable feedback to product development and marketing teams, helping shape future offerings.

    Qualifications and Experience

    – Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, business, or related field, paired with 6+ years of sales or consulting experience in engineering or technology applications, OR 8+ years of related experience with a proven track record of success.
    – In-depth knowledge of product market positioning.
    – Strong comprehension of engineering analysis and technology principles.
    – Proven understanding of sales fundamentals and ability to work effectively across interdisciplinary teams (e.g., ACE, DEV, Marketing, PM) and varying organizational levels.
    – Self-motivated with a proactive approach and the ability to work independently with guidance as needed.
    – Exceptional collaboration capabilities, adept at coordinating efforts among team members across global locations.
    – Strong problem-solving skills and the aptitude to identify effective solutions for clients.
    – Outstanding communication and organizational abilities.
    – Proficiency in delivering executive presentations and persuading stakeholders.
    – Strong networking capabilities with a knack for building and maintaining business relationships.
    – Coaching skills and an ability to mentor others.
    – Fluent in English and the local language of the territory.
    – Willingness to travel up to 50%.

    – Comprehensive knowledge of Ansys products/services and pricing models.
