    Project Engineer (Remote, UK-wide)

    Are you a talented Project Engineer eager to create top-notch engineering solutions within the industrial gas industry? If you excel in a vibrant, customer-driven setting and have expertise in managing intricate projects, this opportunity is calling your name!

    Your Role: In the capacity of Project Engineer, you will spearhead the installation of gas supply systems across various sites, including metered locations, COMAH sites, and Fork Lift Truck refuelling systems. You will oversee the process from initial conception to final delivery, managing a portfolio of 20 to 30 projects throughout the UK. These projects will vary from fast-paced tasks to complex, multi-year undertakings with budgets ranging from £50,000 to £500,000. You’ll collaborate closely with regulatory and permitting authorities to ensure that all projects align with the highest standards of safety and compliance.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Lead the entire project lifecycle, encompassing design, procurement, and installation phases.
    • Formulate and execute risk management strategies, including the necessary CDM documentation.
    • Guarantee projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within financial limits.
    • Engage with clients to offer technical support and innovative solutions.
    • Conduct audits, manage HSE investigations, and report any incidents as needed.
    • Oversee procurement processes, scheduling, and resource allocation for your projects.

    Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the industrial gas sector, with ideally over 5 years in a Project Engineer role.
    • Proficiency in CAD software and the ability to interpret technical drawings effectively.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills, vital for this client-facing position.
    • A solid understanding of LPG Codes of Practice and applicable regulations.
    • A full, clean driving license.
    • Strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities.
