    Job Description

Embark on an exciting career journey with a prominent global Insurtech company, where you’ll play a pivotal role within the Threat Intelligence and Proactive Services team. This position is part of the Cyber Insights & Analytics function within our Cyber Underwriting division, catering to operations across London, the U.S., and beyond. As our team continues to expand rapidly—projecting a remarkable 35% growth this year—you’ll be at the forefront of this dynamic industry.

In this versatile role, you will immerse yourself in the realms of insurance, cybersecurity, and consulting while harnessing your exceptional communication and presentation abilities. You will receive comprehensive training in cybersecurity concepts, empowering you to confidently connect with clients and stakeholders. Join our proactive services team, where you’ll have the chance to influence key projects and initiatives that define the future of the cybersecurity landscape.

This client-focused position is perfectly suited for an individual with robust communication capabilities, a keen interest in cybersecurity, and the ambition to emerge as a leading expert in the field. Collaborating closely with the Head of Cyber Insights & Analytics and the Cyber Services Manager, you will deliver top-notch proactive cybersecurity services, engage with both internal and external stakeholders, and assist clients in navigating the continuously evolving cyber threat environment.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    1. Providing Cybersecurity Services: Lead the delivery of proactive offerings, including cyber tabletop exercises, security awareness sessions, development of cyber policies, and detailed threat report briefings.
    2. Crafting Threat Intelligence Reports: Analyze complex threat intelligence data to create actionable insights through comprehensive quarterly reports, highlighting industry trends and emerging risks. Your work will empower policyholders to mitigate cyber threats and establish themselves as leaders in the industry.
    3. Engaging Policyholders: Drive client satisfaction and retention by onboarding new policyholders, presenting cyber threat intelligence findings, demonstrating proactive services, and guiding them to maximize their policy’s benefits.
    4. Collaborating with Vendors: Work with our panel of Proactive Services vendors to integrate their offerings into our services. Harnessing diverse expertise, you’ll enhance our service capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
    5. Expanding Cyber Services: Identify the cyber risk management needs of policyholders and explore innovative ways to support them, helping to grow our Proactive Services portfolio to ensure our strategies align with market demands.
    6. Contributing to Risk Assessments: Enhance our underwriting framework by providing technical expertise and support during risk assessment processes, including reviewing findings from our “outside-in scanning” tool to improve data-driven decision-making.

    What we’re looking for:

    • Experience in a consultancy or consultative role is a plus.
    • A degree in a STEM field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering) or a relevant discipline that emphasizes strong communication and an understanding of cyber risk (e.g., Politics, International Relations).
    • Familiarity with data analysis tools, such as Python or SQL, or business intelligence platforms to drive insights and threat intelligence development.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication talents, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to present and convey intricate information effectively.
    • Proficiency in translating complex data or technical details into clear and actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
    • Adept relationship-building skills, ensuring timely communication and high-quality delivery to both internal and external partners.
    • A collaborative mindset, easily engaging across various business areas.
    • A genuine passion for cybersecurity and commitment to staying informed about emerging threats and trends.
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and data privacy regulations.
    • Exposure to cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as outside-in scanning solutions or threat intelligence platforms.
    • Detail-oriented and proactive, with enthusiasm for exploring new challenges in the cybersecurity landscape.
