Role Overview
At Pharmaxo Scientific, you will work alongside our dedicated development teams to create and uphold customized software solutions that enable the delivery of vital medication and healthcare services to numerous patients across the nation. As a QA Engineer, you will be integral to our mission by ensuring our software complies with both business objectives and regulatory standards through meticulous planning and execution of a balanced mix of manual and automated tests. Collaborating closely with a fellow QA engineer from the other team will be essential to maintaining uniformity and adhering to industry best practices.
Your Profile
We seek a motivated and skilled QA Engineer who is eager to influence quality-oriented processes within our development environment and throughout the wider organization. You should possess a proactive mindset, demonstrating collaboration with development teams, product managers, and other business stakeholders. Comfort with remote work, self-management, and teamwork is key, along with robust technical expertise and a proven knack for problem-solving. Your ability to swiftly assimilate new technologies is vital, particularly as you aim to gain a comprehensive understanding of our pharmaceutical operations.
Effective communication skills are crucial, as you will interact with stakeholders at various levels to capture and comprehend business requirements.
Your Responsibilities
- Engage in our Scrum development framework and assess our processes to propose meaningful enhancements.
- Analyze system requirements to inform a risk-based strategy for testing, ensuring all specifications are verified without regression.
- Conduct manual test case executions while collaborating with developers to implement automated end-to-end tests.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our companies’ operations and how our software integrates into their workflows.
- Comprehend the regulatory landscape impacting our software and guide documentation practices while assisting business stakeholders in selecting appropriate standards and tools for our evolving test strategy focused on automation.
Required Experience
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing techniques.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing protocols.
- Skilled in utilizing the right tools and methodologies to design and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Ability to articulate clear and precise bug reports and testing documentation.
- Experience in an agile environment, particularly with Scrum processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Playwright framework used for automated end-to-end testing.
- Experience delivering software in regulated contexts.
- Background in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Awareness of common security vulnerabilities as identified in the OWASP Top Ten.
- Experience in automating test environment creation and seed data, including Docker proficiency.
