Human services professionals have an exciting opportunity to join Liberty Healthcare as a Quality Specialist. At Liberty Healthcare, we are dedicated to continuous quality improvement that prioritizes person-centered service delivery, empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
In collaboration with the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration, we are striving for the Person-Centered Excellence Network Accreditation from the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL). This initiative aims to enhance service delivery and improve life outcomes for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the state of Maryland.
As a Quality Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting Waiver Basic Assurance Reviews, which encompass level of care assessments, case management billing evaluations, and service plan assessments.
- Analyzing review data to identify trends and develop actionable quality improvement strategies.
- Creating detailed summary reports that outline findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding and application of quality measures.
You will engage with various computer systems, including the State of Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration Provider Consumer Information System (PCIS2), the State of Maryland LTSS system, and Liberty Healthcare’s proprietary database.
We offer a competitive salary starting at $55,000, along with generous benefits including thirty days of annual paid time off and additional perks.
This is a remote position, allowing you to work from your home office within Maryland, with a requirement to attend quarterly in-person meetings in Columbia, MD.
You would be an ideal candidate if you have:
- Experience in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and SharePoint.
- Experience in gathering and analyzing health-related information.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce well-crafted reports.
- Residency in Maryland.
