At Veeva Systems, we are on a mission to revolutionize the life sciences sector by empowering companies to accelerate the delivery of therapies to patients. As one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in history, we proudly exceeded $2B in revenue during our latest fiscal year and are poised for even more growth. Our core values—Doing the Right Thing, Customer Success, Employee Success, and Speed—drive everything we do. Notably, we made history in 2021 by becoming a public benefit corporation (PBC), legally committed to balancing the needs of our customers, employees, society, and investors.

Embracing a Work Anywhere philosophy, we offer the flexibility to work remotely or from our office, allowing you to thrive in an environment that suits you best.

Join us as we make significant strides in the life sciences field and contribute positively to our customers, employees, and the broader community.

    Your Responsibilities

We are looking for skilled professionals to become a part of our Business Consulting group within Research & Development (R&D)—a key focus area at Veeva. Collaborating with senior stakeholders from 85% of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies, you will help define and capture the strategic value of Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Strategy & Operations, and Quality & Safety (including Pharmacovigilance).

In this Consultant role, you will lead workstreams on consulting projects for Veeva’s R&D clients, overseeing all aspects of project delivery including planning, organization, and tracking. Your ability to analyze challenges and create insightful solutions will be instrumental as you build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders through various forms of communication, including in-person meetings and workshops.

This remote opportunity is available across Europe, and while there are no specific work location requirements, candidates must be near an airport to meet travel obligations. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the EU (for EU locations, including Switzerland) and the UK (for UK-based candidates).

      Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Leading project workstreams: managing delivery scope, ensuring quality, allocating resources, mitigating risks, and adhering to timelines.
    • Designing, building, and delivering project outcomes that align with specific goals and objectives.
    • Identifying customer challenges and proactively delivering solutions.
    • Serving as the primary contact for clients on operational project queries, enhancing relationships through discussions, workshops, and various communication channels.
    • Overseeing the workload and priorities of Associate Consultants within your workstream.
    • Mentoring and supporting Associates in enhancing their skills and professional development.
    • Establishing trusted relationships with stakeholders in the life sciences sector.
    • Offering valuable insights into industry trends and market dynamics.
    • Contributing to business development initiatives and proposals.
    • Participating in the creation and dissemination of thought leadership materials.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong academic background.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in consulting.
    • Solid foundation in Life Sciences, with a particular focus on the R&D value chain or expertise in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Strategy & Operations, or Quality and Safety.
    • Understanding of R&D technologies, ideally including Veeva’s platforms and how R&D consulting solutions can integrate with these technologies.
    • Knowledge of digital technology capabilities in health and life sciences, alongside awareness of market trends driving industry transformation.
    • Demonstrable analytical skills to assess problems quantitatively and qualitatively while communicating insights effectively.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving: anticipating challenges, analyzing situations, and arriving at solutions.
    • Experience leading teams and delivering impactful outcomes.
    • Exceptional project management proficiency.
    • Ability to foster collaboration among team members.
    • Effective interaction with individuals at all organizational levels, quickly establishing credibility.
    • Strong personal influence and the capacity to persuade diverse stakeholders.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local office language.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Postgraduate qualifications such as Ph.D., MD, or MBA.
    • Familiarity with digital technologies, including platforms, analytics tools, and emerging technologies.
    • Experience with SaaS solutions.
    • Fluency in additional European languages.

    Perks & Benefits

    • Attractive compensation package.
    • Promising opportunities for career advancement.
    • Funding for continuous learning and professional development.
