About the Role
As a vital member of our Agile team, you will collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering professionals to develop cutting-edge solutions that drive efficiency across the organization. Reporting directly to the Salesforce Manager, you’ll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that enhance processes and user experiences while promoting automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Development: Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs, crafting scalable and automated solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Customisation & Coding: Create and maintain declarative and programmatic solutions, with a specific focus on Lightning Web Components (LWCs) and Apex.
• Integration Projects: Engage in intricate integration projects that involve external applications, APIs, and web services.
• Team Support & Mentorship: Guide junior team members, advocating for best practices in areas such as coding, testing, and documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Designers and Product Managers to convert user feedback and business requirements into effective technical strategies.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for optimising system performance and elevating user experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Salesforce Expertise: Certifications as a Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I are significant assets.
• Technical Skills:
  • In-depth commercial experience with Lightning Web Components (LWCs), adept in lifecycle hooks, LDS, and handling complex forms.
  • Strong command of Apex, SOQL, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with external integrations, including connected apps, Apex callouts, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Agile Methodology: Proven experience in dynamic Agile environments, with tools like JIRA or Linear.
• Problem-Solving Capability: A strategic thinker with a history of conceptualising and delivering impactful, scalable solutions.
• Collaborative Spirit: Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Innovative Mindset: A keen interest in AI and automation technologies to enrich the Salesforce platform.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Marketing Cloud.
• Sales Cloud Consultant certification.
• Familiarity with AI models in Salesforce or related platforms.
• Experience with cloud solutions like AWS, specifically using services such as Lambda, S3, or API Gateway.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React for creating UI components or integrations.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools, such as Git, Gearset, or Copado.
