The salary for this position ranges from $87,000 to $156,000.

As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst on our Cyber Fraud Intelligence team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding Target from fraud threats. Your primary responsibilities will involve tracking and analyzing significant fraud risks that affect Target, our team members, and our guests. You will collaborate closely with fellow analysts, investigators, and engineers within the Fraud & Abuse sector, to identify and scrutinize fraud threat activities, uncovering the tactics and procedures used by malicious actors. You will also assist in monthly and ad-hoc reports that summarize fraud trends, providing valuable insights to internal stakeholders. Furthermore, you will pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and optimize existing workflows.

Who You Are

• You hold a 4-year degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or possess equivalent work experience.

• You bring 1-3 years of professional experience in threat intelligence, ideally focusing on deep web investigations or fraud analysis, response, or mitigation.

• You have a solid understanding of common fraud tactics, the intelligence cycle, and analysis methods.

• You are experienced in gathering, processing, and analyzing diverse sources of information, including open source, deep web, and dark web data.

• You are familiar with digital investigation practices, data management, and scripting tools.

• You demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, critical thinking abilities, and a quick learning aptitude.

• You are self-driven, capable of leading and influencing various teams.

• You possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

• You are organized and have strong time management capabilities.

This role may be available as a Remote or Hybrid position (referred to internally at Target as “Flex for Your Day”), depending on the needs of the organization. A Remote arrangement means you will work full-time from home without a designated desk at a Target location, with potential travel to headquarters up to four times a year. A Hybrid/Flex arrangement allows you to perform your core job duties either remotely or at a Target location, depending on your role and responsibilities each day. Tasks cannot be performed outside the primary work country’s jurisdiction unless specified by Target.
