    Role Overview

    We are seeking a dynamic Senior Product Sales Manager to join our New and Emerging Technologies Specialized Sales Organization. This vital role focuses on propelling our innovative Ansys Solutions into the Americas market, specifically within the Channel sector.

    As a Senior Product Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and achieving ambitious company growth targets across the Americas. Your primary focus will be on enterprise and strategic accounts—Ansys’s largest global clients who demand high levels of engagement and collaboration. Successfully navigating these relationships necessitates a deep understanding of customers’ environments and challenges, enabling you to align Ansys solutions for measurable business outcomes. You will also cultivate executive sponsorship both externally with customers and within Ansys, ensuring strong relationships and commitment to purchase.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct product sales initiatives for new and renewal business across designated product lines, striving to meet or surpass revenue targets.
    • Collaborate with field and enterprise sales teams, along with channel partners, to develop and implement proactive strategies that enhance product and service revenue as part of broad account plans.
    • Assist in securing sales of Ansys software and services by working closely with direct teams, facilitating successful contract negotiations as needed.
    • Contribute to various phases of the sales process with diligence and strategic insight.
    • Enhance communication between sales and technical teams, delivering updates on product features, success stories, and effective strategies.
    • Develop and nurture business relationships with current and prospective clients to generate new opportunities for Ansys offerings.
    • Engage in industry events and conventions to promote Ansys products.
    • Lead advanced solution presentations that address customer needs, highlighting Ansys advantages and differentiating from competitors.
    • Coordinate technical support for demonstrations, proof of concepts, evaluations, and training initiatives.
    • Collaborate with team members to craft compelling written proposals, quotations, and value propositions tailored to clients.
    • Relay client feedback to product development and marketing departments.

    Qualifications and Experience Required

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, engineering, business, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 6 years of sales or consulting experience in engineering/technology applications; or 10+ years of relevant experience with a proven sales record.
    • Strong understanding of engineering analysis and technology.
    • Exceptional communication and organization skills, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of interdisciplinary teams.
    • Proven aptitude for fostering collaboration with individuals across multiple global locations.
    • Solid knowledge of Ansys products/services and pricing practices.
    • Insightful understanding of the product market landscape.
    • Problem-solving prowess with the skill to identify optimal solutions for clients.
    • Proficiency in English is essential.
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
