Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Frontend Developer – Up to £85,000, Fully Remote
Join a pioneering client who is redefining virtual learning environments with dynamic and interactive experiences, particularly in the Education and Healthcare sectors. Your expertise in frontend development can significantly contribute to this innovative journey.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Craft, develop, and bring to life new features and components for our application and the React-based editor across web, desktop (Electron), and cloud/edge services.
- Create clean, efficient, well-structured, and maintainable code that sets the standard for quality.
- Engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams, including Design and Unity Developers, while following Agile methodologies.
- Take part in discovery sessions, roadmap planning, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives that foster continuous improvement.
- Recognize, suggest, and document architectural enhancements and strategic decisions.
- Analyze, debug, and optimize both application code and cloud-based APIs to bolster performance, reliability, and security.
What We’re Looking For:
- Adept knowledge of React, including its hooks, context API, and modern state management techniques such as Redux Toolkit.
- Solid command of modern JavaScript (ES6) and Node.js.
- Familiarity with Material-UI (MUI) is essential.
- Additional skills in Electron, Storybook, UI/UX design, Three.js, Python, and Jira are highly appreciated.
- Experience or genuine interest in Unity, WebGL, or related interactive technologies will be a plus.
- A proactive interest or experience in integrating AI/ML solutions into web applications is advantageous.
Compensation:
Enjoy a competitive salary package with a base of up to £85,000.
Work Environment:
This role offers the flexibility of being completely remote; however, candidates must be based in the UK.
