Our journey began in 2017 when we identified the complexities of last-mile delivery that created stress for drivers. The Circuit mission was born to simplify this process by developing an app focused on prioritizing the needs of drivers and their customers.
The response to our initiative was astounding. Within our first year, we garnered nearly 1,000 customers, achieved $100k in ARR, and built a team comprised of our co-founders, Jack and Pol. Today, with a lean team of 40, we’ve soared to $25M ARR, assisting over 100,000 drivers in delivering more than 1 billion packages across the globe—around 20 every second.
Your Role
Joining our dynamic iOS team of four, you’ll enhance our iOS app, continually propelling both our product and company forward by discovering and implementing optimal solutions for our users.
In this individual contributor role, you will take ownership of projects from inception to completion, influencing how we design and develop our app as it evolves. This includes code reviews, sharing insights with your team, maintaining high standards, troubleshooting any tough bugs, and improving our tools and processes. Collaboration with our Product Design and broader Engineering teams will ensure the delivery of top-notch user experiences.
Your Responsibilities Will Exclude
A daily routine of stand-ups and bi-weekly sprints. Expect a meeting once a week; we might not be the best fit if you depend on regular meetings for structure.
Compromising on quality. We uphold high standards and won’t rush work to meet arbitrary deadlines.
People management. This role focuses on mentorship and project management while maintaining an individual contributor focus for now.
Engaging with junior team members. Be prepared to handle essential low-level and administrative tasks.
