In this exciting position, your primary focus will be on crafting insightful reports and contributing to fee-earning production projects. While most of your work will be remote, there will be opportunities for local field surveys and the rewarding experience of mentoring junior Ecologists.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or equivalent in ecology, biology, or a related field, along with full membership in CIEEM. You should have a proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams effectively. Holding protected species licenses, particularly for bats and/or great crested newts (GCN), is essential, complemented by a thorough understanding of Preliminary Ecological Appraisal and survey techniques. Your experience in project, site, and task management should be well-rounded, with a solid grasp of UK planning policies and experience in Public Inquiries.

We’re looking for someone who excels in IT and CAD drafting skills, possesses outstanding problem-solving abilities, and can thrive under pressure while meeting tight deadlines. As an effective communicator, you should be able to convey complex information clearly and enjoy working in a collaborative environment with your peers.
