We are actively seeking a Senior Project Manager to take the lead on the execution of international and European projects.
Your Role Will Involve:
- Managing the daily execution of international projects with precision.
- Leading, facilitating, and documenting design or site meetings effectively.
- Conducting site visits with clients and the design team to ensure project alignment.
- Overseeing design teams, including architects and consultants, to guarantee timely production of drawings and technical information.
- Managing a diverse range of construction projects while maintaining client relationships.
- Administering contracts through meeting documentation, instructions, and client reporting.
- Creating and maintaining essential project documentation and processes.
- Reporting upwards to meet and exceed client expectations consistently.
- Utilizing industry knowledge to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.
- Collaborating with Shopping Centre Developers throughout the pre-construction phase.
- Coordinating with consultants to ensure timely issuance of statutory approvals.
- Developing and managing comprehensive work schedules.
- Identifying and monitoring key project risks effectively.
- Engaging with all key stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
To Thrive in This Role, You Should Have:
- Proven experience in Project Management within the construction and consultancy sectors.
- A degree in construction management or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A robust knowledge of Project Management principles throughout both pre and post-construction phases.
- Exceptional communication skills with a talent for building strong working relationships.
- A background in the construction sector, particularly in retail, leisure, or commercial projects.
- Experience with construction contract administration.
- Experience working within a consultancy or client-focused organization.
- A client-facing role background.
- A track record of mentoring or managing junior staff members.
- Experience successfully navigating multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience with shell monitoring during the pre-construction phase.
- A constructive approach to challenging discussions and achieving client-focused goals.
- The ability to clearly convey project requirements based on individual project needs.
- A proactive contribution to value management and engineering studies at both project and programme levels.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
