    The Associate Director Sales (ADS) will be a key player within the Canadian Neuroscience Business Unit, tasked with leading and nurturing a high-performing, patient-centric sales team. This role involves cultivating a culture that values people while developing and executing a sales strategy that aligns with the vision and objectives of our Neuroscience Brands, ultimately driving our commercial success.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • As the Associate Sales Director, you will guide the Key Account Managers (KAM) team by:

      • Attracting, nurturing, and retaining top-tier KAMs while fostering an environment centered around diversity, innovation, and teamwork.

      • Coaching, training, and developing Neuroscience Account Managers through a mix of virtual and in-person engagements to create a motivated and forward-thinking team.

      • Providing exemplary leadership that upholds high ethical standards and performance benchmarks.

      • Delivering constructive verbal and written feedback on team performance and development in a timely manner.

      • Continuously reviewing team performance and addressing any issues promptly.

    • Participating in the crafting of the Canadian Neuroscience Strategic and Tactical Plans while leading the implementation of these plans, ensuring clear communication and providing guidance to your team.

    • Overseeing the development, execution, and evaluation of integrated Territory Account Plans across all functions.

    • Creating and executing comprehensive regional sales strategies designed to enhance patient access to our transformative treatments, achieve revenue objectives, boost market share, and improve customer experiences.

    • Setting ambitious targets for yourself and your team, contributing to forecasts, and optimizing incentive plans.

    • Leading and participating in Brand initiatives within the Neuroscience Franchise as required.

    • Working collaboratively with cross-functional leaders at Jazz Pharmaceuticals (including Market Access, Marketing, Training, Medical Affairs, Sales Force Effectiveness, and Compliance) to meet shared business objectives in a compliant manner.

    • Analyzing and interpreting data, including sales analytics, CRM reports, business statistics, and customer feedback, to inform the development of strategic brand plans and territory plans.

    • Ensuring the sales team effectively promotes the company’s products within approved indications, utilizing the latest company materials.

    • Staying informed about the Canadian market access landscape related to our therapeutic areas.

    • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key opinion leaders across Canada.

    • Collaborating with the Oncology Sales leadership to enhance customer engagement frameworks and achieve account management excellence.

    • Demonstrating a deep understanding of the diseases we address, the competitive landscape, and therapeutic management within our target markets.

    • Knowing and adhering to all relevant corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines.

    Qualifications and Skills Required:

    • Extensive experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with a focus on marketing and sales.

    • A successful track record in leading a sales or KAM team.

    • Experience in Key Account Management is essential.

    • Familiarity with Specialty Medicine, particularly in Neuroscience, is an advantage.

    • A proven ability to deliver outstanding results, manage change, and exhibit exemplary leadership skills.

    • Strong IT proficiency in business-related software, particularly MS Office.

    • Experience with CRM tools is required.

    • Comprehension of selling models and key account management excellence.

    • Proven experience with product launches.

    • Academic and/or institutional experience is beneficial.

    • Exceptional skills in prioritization are necessary.

    • This position requires extensive travel.

    • A valid Canadian driver’s license is mandatory.

    • Fluency in both English and French is essential.

    Education and Licenses:

    • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.

    • An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.

    Note: This role necessitates travel between 30-50% of the time.

    Compensation within this range will be determined by various factors including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and job knowledge. We strive to ensure all compensation aligns with an individual’s expertise and contributions within our pay framework and Total Compensation philosophy. Consideration of internal equity will also play a role in individual pay decisions, and this range is subject to regular review.

    At Jazz/Celator, your base salary is only one aspect of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or other incentives in accordance with the terms of the Company’s Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants as per Jazz’s Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
