Join our dynamic team, which is dedicated to year-on-year growth and expansion, as we seek our next star player to strategize, champion, and successfully deliver Digital Mission Engineering, Model-based Systems Engineering, and Digital Twin solutions within the Aerospace & Defense industry across the Americas! This position is entirely remote, with travel required as necessary to facilitate business development.
Your role is fully remote, with travel expectations based on business needs.
As a Senior Product Sales Manager, you’ll direct and bolster collaborative sales initiatives aimed at expanding one or more of our product lines. The ideal candidate will ensure ongoing profitability and growth of specific products while achieving direct sales quotas and supporting overall product-line success within an overlay framework.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
– Engage in product sales activities for new and renewal business across assigned product lines to meet or exceed revenue targets.
– Collaborate with field and enterprise sales teams at Ansys and channel partners to strategize and execute proactive approaches that drive revenue growth for products and services as part of a comprehensive account strategy.
– Actively contribute at every stage of the sales process.
– Facilitate updates on product capabilities, success stories, and strategies through effective communication with sales and technical teams.
– Establish and nurture strong business relationships with current and potential customers to generate new opportunities for products and services.
– Participate in industry events and exhibitions.
– Create and deliver high-level solution presentations aligned with customer needs using our products and services, while positioning Ansys’ offerings as superior to competitors.
– Organize technical support for demos, proof of concepts, and training, coordinating with team members for effective delivery.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop compelling proposals, detailed quotations, and value propositions for clients.
– Relay client feedback to product development and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
– Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, business, or related discipline.
– Experience: A minimum of 4 years in sales or consulting, focusing on engineering or technology applications, with a proven success record.
– Proficiency in engineering analysis and technology is essential.
– Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams (including ACE, DEV, Marketing, PM, etc.) and hierarchies.
– Possess the ability to foster collaboration and coordination with teams across various global locations.
– Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
– Familiarity with company’s products/services and pricing practices is advantageous.
– Understanding of the product market position is a plus.
– Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to identify suitable solutions for customers.
– Proficient networking skills utilizing both direct (in-person) and indirect (email, phone, social media) channels.
