    Job Description

    A dynamic technology firm in Ohio is on the lookout for a talented Senior SAP PP / QM Application Consultant to join their expanding team in a fully remote capacity. This exciting opportunity involves taking the lead as a Senior Consultant in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) during SAP implementation projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As the Senior SAP PP / QM Application Consultant (Remote), you will:

    • Serve as the design authority on projects, ensuring that the Production Planning and Quality Management solutions implemented meet industry best practices and maintain quality and integrity.
    • Gather and document client production planning requirements, aligning them with suitable SAP solutions.
    • Configure the SAP Production Planning and Quality Management systems, followed by conducting initial testing to ensure effectiveness.
    • Identify existing functional gaps in the system that may necessitate enhancements or customizations.
    • Conduct thorough testing of the SAP solutions to ensure they meet the requirements for Production Planning and Quality Management.
    • Educate users on master data management, the new business processes, transactional activities, and reporting execution.
    • Provide support to end users during the hypercare phase immediately following the go-live of new SAP solutions.
    • Offer insightful thought leadership to both the organization and its clients, concentrating on Supply Chain strategy particularly in the realms of Production Planning and Quality Management.
    • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a manufacturing-related discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Production Planning and project implementation, or a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Over 2 years of integration experience with other process areas.
    • More than 2 years of leadership experience on SAP implementation projects.
    • Experience in configuring multiple SAP modules and across various industries.
    • A proven track record of participating in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations.
    • Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • A keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills.

    Desired Skills:

    Preferred qualifications include:

    • Experience in Quality Management (QM).
    • Familiarity with S/4 HANA versions 1610, 1709, 1809, 1909, and 2020, either through project experience or training.
    • Knowledge of Fiori and experience working with Embedded Analytics.
    • Experience or understanding of implementing Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI).
    • Background in the Food & Beverage, Pharma, or Chemical industries.
    • A solid grasp of SAP Activate Project Methodology.
