Your Role

We are in search of a Solutions/Sales Engineer who seamlessly blends technical acumen with a results-oriented sales approach. Ideal candidates will come with a solid background in large-scale systems architecture, software, and a comprehensive understanding of contemporary technology practices. Your core responsibilities will include addressing technical inquiries, advising on best practices, identifying current needs, exploring potential solutions, and articulating the advantages and feasibility of projects for enterprise clients. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating communication between Product and Sales teams, championing continuous improvements to the Ori platform. Collaborating closely with Solutions Engineering and Customer Success, you’ll ensure our enterprise clients’ technical requirements are effectively recognized and incorporated into future roadmap strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer technical assistance to prospects, clients, and the sales team throughout the sales process
• Provide deep expertise in the Ori platform and its solutions, showcasing how they address business challenges
• Create and deliver compelling demonstrations of the Ori Cloud platform and infrastructure
• Lead and manage proofs of concept, aligning measures of success with impactful outcomes
• Handle security documentation responses in conjunction with relevant internal specialist teams
• Act as a liaison between Product and Engineering teams, representing customer feedback and insights

Your Profile:

• Strong technical foundation, especially in large-scale systems and HPC/AI, with prior pre-sales experience
• Understanding of the wider technical landscape, including HPC Clusters, AI technologies, GPUs, Linux, and networking
• Familiarity with HPC/AI concepts such as job schedulers, orchestration, containers, Kubernetes, and network topologies
• Preference for advanced networking concepts and technologies
• Strong commitment to learning, mentorship, collaboration, and professional development
• Passionate about empowering others with a robust understanding of our technology and adept at building rapport as a trusted advisor
• Ability to articulate business benefits, strategic value, and technical effectiveness, while also designing custom demonstrations
• Skilled in project management, deadlines, and prioritizing conflicting demands
• Sound knowledge of best practices in network architecture and security
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer-focused sales or consulting capacity

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or comparable experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
• Comprehensive understanding of various technology domains
• Interpersonal skills combined with a collaborative leadership style, emphasizing teamwork
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and proactively acquiring new skills
• Adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Innovative and open-minded in technical approaches

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Solutions Architect certifications
• Experience with security and privacy regulatory standards such as SOC-2, ISO27001, and HIPAA
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
