Job Description
Sylvera is at the forefront of revolutionizing the carbon credit and Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) landscape by offering trustworthy ratings, innovative tools, and comprehensive data. Our vision is to stimulate meaningful investment in genuine climate actions that contribute to a sustainable future.
Acquiring carbon credits and utilizing CDR via the carbon markets stands as a highly effective and scalable strategy to direct funding towards impactful climate solutions, all while striving for societal net-zero emissions. However, the carbon markets have historically faced issues of skepticism and ineffectiveness—until the advent of Sylvera.
To empower organizations in making informed and impactful investments, Sylvera delivers acclaimed ratings, advanced tools, and precise data for carbon credits and CDR. Our independently validated data and software evaluate the effectiveness of carbon projects that capture, mitigate, or avert emissions, regardless of their operational status. With our resources, users can enhance both the climate and financial returns of their projects while gaining insights into market trends and forecasts. Sylvera equips businesses, governments, and developers to confidently invest in, benchmark, execute, and communicate tangible climate impact.
Our talented team runs the gamut of expertise in climate change, featuring top scientists, policy analysts, finance professionals, and carbon market experts. We engage with scientific institutions, universities, government entities, and think tanks to establish and implement thorough project assessment methodologies, integrating state-of-the-art technology. Our collaborations span the entire market spectrum, driving quality, standardization, and accessibility of data. Established in 2020, Sylvera has grown to over 130 employees worldwide and has offices in London, New York, Belgrade, and Singapore. We are proud to have secured over $96 million in funding from prominent investors, including Fidelity, Balderton Capital, Index Ventures, and Insight Partners.
