Take on an exciting opportunity as a Systems Solution Designer specializing in Integrations for a leading company in the SaaS sector! This remote role offers a competitive day rate of £500 – £600 (inside IR35) and requires some travel to our offices located in London, Bristol, or Manchester. We are looking to fill this position for a contract duration of 3 to 6 months, with an immediate start date available.

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping and defining the integration landscape between various platforms, ensuring a cohesive user experience that enhances client outcomes. You’ll bring together a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to create effective solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing integration solutions that connect multiple systems and applications, both internally and with external clients.
• Engaging with stakeholders to capture business needs and converting them into comprehensive technical specifications.
• Producing detailed integration design documentation based on UML standards.
• Ensuring smooth data interchange and communication across various systems.
• Establishing integration standards and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Quickly diagnosing and resolving integration-related issues.
• Collaborating with fellow solution designers, architects, and development teams to bring integration strategies to fruition.
• Conducting thorough end-to-end testing of integration solutions.
• Transforming complex or conflicting information into coherent process flows by gathering input from the product team.
• Using your technical expertise to bridge gaps between Project Management (PM), Experience Design (XD), and Engineering.
• Identifying business rules and constraints that guide integration strategies.

What we’re seeking:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical solution design capacity.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record as a Solution Designer or in a similar position.
• Strong technical knowledge in areas such as SaaS, APIs, cloud computing (AWS, Azure), and financial technologies.
• Experience with APIs, web services, middleware, and tools such as GitHub, REST API, microservices, Postman, OpenAPI, etc.
• Ability to create technical resources that enhance team productivity (e.g., Postman collections, automation scripts, web tools).
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams to ensure an excellent customer journey.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach with solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
• Readiness to travel as required for customer engagements and internal workshops.
• An iterative, customer-focused approach to exploring and solving problems.
• Understanding of business goals and strategies, and ability to navigate competitive analysis, rules, legislation, and constraints.
• Adeptness at applying design thinking methodologies to identify optimal solutions.
• Expertise in requirements gathering and validation techniques, managing conflicting needs, and ensuring alignment across various stakeholders, always with the customer in mind.
• Precision in delivering clear, actionable design outputs that align with business objectives.
• Capacity to articulate complex solutions effectively, using appropriate communication tools and methods.
• Strong validation skills to ensure solution accuracy, with resilience to adjust strategies as needed.
• Support for team members in understanding and implementing solutions.
• Experience in enterprise software development, particularly within fintech, accounting, or financial services.

Remuneration is commensurate with experience and aligned to client needs.
