Exciting Opportunity for a Remote TeleHealth Psychiatrist in the San Francisco Bay Area

Overview and Requirements:
We are seeking a skilled psychiatrist to provide remote telehealth services to children aged 6 and up, as well as young adults up to 25 years old. This position begins ASAP and offers ongoing coverage for outpatient services, starting at 4 hours per week with the potential to expand to 8 hours based on patient needs. Flexibility is key, as we allow you to choose your working days and hours, provided that services are rendered between 9 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Enjoy the convenience of 100% remote work using Zoom as our preferred telehealth platform. There’s no call requirement associated with this position.

Approximately 25% of the patient population may present with co-occurring disorders, particularly among young adults and adults. Although board certification is not a prerequisite, familiarity with electronic health records is essential, as you will be required to navigate our EHR system, which includes Medi-Cal billing. We will provide training on our specific system.

For initial evaluations, you’ll spend about 90 minutes to 2 hours per patient, while medication follow-ups typically last 30-60 minutes. The credentialing process will take approximately 1-2 weeks, including a live scan criminal background check.
