    We’re excited to welcome a new Travel Consultant to our talented remote team, responsible for delivering exceptional service to our corporate clients.     Your Key Responsibilities

    • Guide and arrange travel plans for corporate clients, assisting both individuals and groups.

    • Conduct thorough research and analysis on travel options while proactively anticipating traveler needs to upsell additional services.

    • Coordinate and book a variety of domestic and international business travel, covering air, road, rail, and accommodations.

    • Utilize various Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) such as Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, and Amadeus; training will be available.

    • Adhere to customer travel policies, service provider regulations, and compliance standards.

    • Implement excellent telephone service techniques and address special customer requests effectively.

    • Work closely with team members to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback aimed at enhancing service levels.

    What You Bring to the Team

    • A fervent commitment to exceptional client service, with the ability to anticipate and meet needs proactively.

    • Expertise in GDS systems (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, and/or Galileo) is essential.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Meticulous attention to detail.

    • Integrity and confidentiality regarding traveler information.

    • A solid understanding of the travel industry, whether from business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations experience.

    • Proven ability to resolve customer issues swiftly and independently or with suppliers.

    • A collaborative spirit and openness to feedback for continuous improvement.

    Our Traveler Care team operates around the clock, with specific colleagues assigned to the night shift. However, flexibility for afternoon shifts (12-8 pm) and weekends is appreciated.

    The national hourly wage range for this role is between $17.00 and $29.00, reflecting the hourly rate Amex GBT expects to offer. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the complexity of the job and the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and location.
