Our client, a prominent global pioneer in digital transformation dedicated to the construction and manufacturing industries, is actively on the lookout for a Key Account Manager to enhance and expand strategic client partnerships.
As a renowned provider of services and solutions, particularly within the Autodesk ecosystem, our client empowers organizations to digitize their operations, boost efficiency, and prepare for the future. This role will necessitate travel to client sites, supported by a generous car allowance of £7,000.
In this crucial relationship-driven position, the Key Account Manager will play a vital role in managing, nurturing, and elevating existing client accounts to foster retention, engagement, and growth within a diverse portfolio of digitalization products and services.
You will act as the principal liaison for a select group of strategic customers, ensuring they extract maximum value from our client’s offerings while identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and service or license expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing strategic accounts across Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC), Manufacturing, and Infrastructure sectors.
- Gain insight into client goals, hurdles, and operational contexts to proactively recommend tailored solutions.
- Enhance client retention and satisfaction through regular interactions and value-oriented discussions.
- Advocate for the adoption of software solutions, ensuring seamless implementation and utilization.
- Recognize and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities, encompassing license expansions and professional services.
- Collaborate with teams responsible for client engagement, technical support, and delivery to align solutions with the client’s business goals.
- Utilize NetSuite CRM to document activities, manage renewals, and accurately forecast the sales pipeline.
- Keep abreast of market trends and customer feedback to inform strategic account planning and management.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of the industries served by Autodesk: AEC – encompassing building design, construction management, and infrastructure; Manufacturing – focusing on product development, prototyping, and production workflows.
- Proven experience in managing key accounts and cultivating long-term partnerships with clients.
- Familiarity with the Autodesk ecosystem or comparable digitalization platforms.
- Skill in translating intricate technical features into significant business advantages.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, enabling the development and execution of effective account plans.
- Exceptional relationship-building aptitude, along with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, target-oriented environment while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
