    Position Overview

    We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive individual to play a pivotal role in overseeing the full lifecycle of our contracts. You will be instrumental in securing new business, facilitating contract drafting and negotiations, managing contract changes, and maintaining contract compliance to enhance client relationships and optimize performance. Additionally, you will ensure that customer contractual requirements are effectively passed down to our supply chain, working closely with our procurement team.

    Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining internal governance related to bidding and contract acceptance processes, including adherence to export regulations such as EAR/ITAR.

    Main Responsibilities Include:

    • Serving as the primary contact for customers regarding all contractual and commercial inquiries.

    • Establishing processes for governance concerning bidding and contract acceptance.

    • Leading the business efforts in maintaining compliance with export controls and regulations.

    • Implementing and overseeing the flow-down of contractual obligations to our supply chain, in collaboration with procurement teams.

    • Fostering best practices and encouraging self-assessment within commercial work quality.

    • Minimizing business risks while enhancing profit opportunities through strategic contract management.

    • Providing expert guidance on diverse commercial issues and support for contract-related matters.

    • Staying current in your field and mentoring colleagues to elevate team competencies.

    • Ensuring effective transition of commercial responsibilities as new business enters the performance phase.

    • Gathering and analyzing commercial data for bids and projects as necessary.

    • Maintaining close collaboration with procurement staff to align efforts.

    Experience Required:

    • A proven track record in a commercial role involving complex contracts across both civil and defense sectors.

    • Deep understanding of pricing strategies, terms, conditions, and contractual documents.

    • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and team members alike.

    • Familiarity with defense and aerospace contracts, particularly Def-Cons.

    • Experience engaging with an international client base is preferable.

    Qualifications:

    • A degree in Law or a related field is preferred.

    • Membership in a recognized professional organization is desirable.

    • Demonstrated integrity and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.

    • A results-driven attitude with a commitment to accountability and effective communication.

    • Collaborative mindset recognizing the value of teamwork.

    • Proficient knowledge of pricing and business documentation.

    • Extensive experience in managing complex commercial contracting and negotiations.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills paired with strong analytical abilities.

    • Expertise in generating contracts and supporting procurement with contractual insights.
