We are on the lookout for a talented and experienced Transmission Line Engineer to become an integral part of our vibrant team. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the UK. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and a strong background in the design and upkeep of transmission lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, construct, and maintain high-voltage transmission lines and their related infrastructure.
• Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of transmission lines to identify defects and ensure adherence to industry safety standards and regulations.
• Diagnose issues affecting transmission lines and implement effective repair solutions.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians to develop and execute innovative transmission line projects.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and engineering specifications pertinent to transmission lines.
• Stay informed on the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance project delivery and overall performance.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in transmission line engineering or a closely related area.
• Proficient in using PLS-Tower, civil engineering, and transmission line software.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, as well as transmission line design and construction practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a remote working environment.
