We are on the lookout for a Senior Director specializing in Technology Enabled Business Strategy, who will provide strategic guidance to board-level executives on digital transformation, innovative business models, customer-centric strategies, corporate venturing, and the latest digital industry trends.

Your proven experience in delivering successful strategies within digital or hybrid environments, coupled with a strong background in thought leadership, will be essential in this role.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Crafting innovative and engaging research content that resonates with industry leaders.

• Generating fresh ideas and thought leadership that provide clients with actionable strategies tailored to their unique challenges.

• Conducting in-depth analyses to uncover the root causes of client hurdles and reframing strategies to facilitate progress.

• Exhibiting thought leadership by shaping research positions and guiding a team of analysts.

• Delivering independent insights that influence Gartner’s research agenda and priorities.

• Researching and forecasting industry trends to equip clients with timely, actionable insights.

• Providing comprehensive support to clients through virtual or face-to-face interactions, delivering targeted advice in your area of expertise.

• Creating high-impact presentations for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client engagements.

• Supporting Sales efforts as a Subject Matter Expert, enhancing the ability to engage with C-level executives and drive business retention and growth.

• Participating in collaborative peer reviews, ensuring high-quality, timely research outputs.

• Establishing yourself as a credible industry expert, effectively representing Gartner’s research methodologies and strategies.

• Contributing to innovation and research discussions while cultivating long-lasting relationships within the Gartner research community.

• Identifying opportunities for research process enhancements to elevate service delivery within the Research & Advisory team.

• Offering mentorship and support to junior research analysts in their professional development.

• Encouraging client engagement with Gartner Research as a strategic partner through a client-centric approach.

What We’re Looking For:

• An undergraduate degree combined with 12+ years of relevant experience in the industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Expertise in executive-level Technology Enabled Business Strategy and Transformation.

• A commanding executive presence that establishes immediate credibility with executives and stakeholders.

• Exceptional organizational skills, enabling you to meet tight deadlines while delivering high-quality work.

• Proficiency in research and effective communication, with strong written and verbal skills necessary to engage clients and address inquiries.

• Ability to analyze and synthesize data, applying frameworks and patterns to draw meaningful conclusions for clients.

• A strong communicator capable of simplifying complex concepts for various audiences.

• Comfortable presenting at various speaking engagements, whether large or intimate.

• Robust business, commercial, and financial acumen.

• A comprehensive understanding of the global competitive landscape and the dynamics within your area of expertise.

• Capability to work independently while fostering collaboration within a multicultural global team.

• A natural curiosity and an eagerness to learn and collaborate in a matrixed environment.

• The ability to effectively represent Gartner’s research methodologies and strategies at all organizational levels.

• Willingness to travel internationally for Gartner conferences and client engagements (approximately 15% travel requirement).
