The Institutional product team is dedicated to building a comprehensive markets business tailored for the world’s largest institutional clients, including investment managers, corporations, hedge funds, market makers, and pension funds. We are committed to delivering a fully-featured platform that supports all financial activities—buying, selling, storing, lending, borrowing, and earning.

Access to quality financing is crucial for our clients. Recognizing this need, the Institutional Financing + USDC team is constructing a prime brokerage service for crypto assets that integrates financing solutions with custody and execution services, providing a scalable and compliant platform.

What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking a seasoned product manager to spearhead a significant segment of our Financing product offerings. You will enhance existing customer-facing products like Agency Lending—an offering poised to be a game-changer in the crypto space—while also developing and launching entirely new solutions.

As the owner of all Supply products within the Institutional Financing + USDC division, you will manage the tools and capabilities that enable clients to maximize their crypto investments. Your work will directly influence investment strategies and returns for numerous institutional clients, significantly enhancing the financing landscape within the digital asset ecosystem.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying market trends and competitor activities, developing business cases, and shaping product strategies.

• Overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from conception to execution of both established and new products.

• Collaborating across engineering, design, and various teams to generate product ideas and define user journeys, ensuring swift delivery of capabilities to customers.

• Setting and analyzing key metrics to inform product operations, business growth, and risk management.

• Aligning teams around a unified product vision and steering execution across multiple quarters.

• Regularly updating stakeholders on project progress and performance indicators.

• Proactively identifying and managing risks associated with product offerings.

What We Look For In You:

• 5+ years of experience in product management or development, with a passion for continuous skill enhancement.

• Outstanding interpersonal communication and organizational abilities.

• Strong analytical skills, with a knack for prioritization and problem-solving in ambiguous situations.

• A proven track record of launching successful products at scale.

• Demonstrable leadership qualities in product strategy development and cross-functional alignment.

• A fervent interest in cryptocurrency, financial markets, and our mission at Coinbase.

• An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to independently drive initiatives and tackle obstacles head-on.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in Agency Lending, Securities Lending, Prime Brokerage, or Financing Trading within financial services.

• Experience collaborating with Institutional clients, particularly in the realms of financing, repo, or funding products.

Compensation:

We believe in transparent compensation. For this position, the expected annual salary ranges from $236,725 to $278,500 USD, inclusive of bonuses, equity, and benefits like medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.
