Job Description
WORK REMOTELY
Anderselite is excited to partner with a Cardiff-based organization in search of a skilled Landscape Architect. We are seeking someone with a minimum of 2-4 years of post-graduate experience in a Landscape Architecture practice within the UK, showcasing adept project management capabilities, particularly during the critical tender and construction phases.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a remote capacity, with occasional visits to sites and offices as needed. You will receive guidance and support from the Manager/Senior Landscape Architect, but self-direction and autonomy are crucial for success in this role.
Your responsibilities will include supporting and managing various projects from their initial concept all the way through to practical completion. This role encompasses designing park refurbishments, including features like play areas, sports facilities, park amenities, pathways, and other existing components, or even developing a new masterplan or carrying out a comprehensive redesign. We welcome applicants who are flexible and willing to engage in projects of any scale, from small enhancements to large-scale developments. Supporting your application with a portfolio, references, and completing a probationary working period will be essential.
A creative mindset and forward-thinking approach are vital, as you will be tasked with addressing challenges with innovative and practical solutions. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office applications is required, along with the ability to prepare technical documents such as General Arrangement plans, planting schemes, setting out drawings, construction details, and other related plans.
Additional competencies needed include the ability to write specifications, develop pricing documents, and conduct CDM risk assessments. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a proactive attitude towards preparing necessary forms for different project stages, including contract and pre-tender award documentation. Strong presentation skills are essential, as you will be responsible for delivering work and outcomes through graphic boards, online presentations, participating in meetings, managing budgets, processing payments, and ensuring timely project delivery.
This is a fantastic opportunity to embark on a rewarding career path where you can grow and receive outstanding support, accompanied by a competitive salary and comprehensive rewards package.
