Overview
As part of the dynamic Q-SYS team, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you will take the lead as a Senior Manager in Cloud and Ecosystem Product Marketing. Your primary focus will be to drive innovative marketing initiatives surrounding Q-SYS’ cutting-edge Cloud Solutions, characterized by a SaaS/software business model, as well as our strategic Ecosystem partnerships. This role demands a mix of technical savviness—especially with Microsoft Azure and IoT ecosystem/automation technology—alongside your market analysis skills, strategic vision, and execution capabilities for go-to-market (GTM) strategies. Your leadership will be essential in successfully rolling out product initiatives that align with our company’s overarching goals.
You will play a crucial role in enhancing our understanding of the Cloud and Ecosystem market segments. By conducting in-depth research and engaging in voice-of-the-customer activities both internally and externally, you’ll generate valuable insights to inform our marketing strategies aimed at IT stakeholders. Balancing feedback from Regional Marketing with inputs from Product Development, you’ll design innovative programs to raise awareness, create demand, and empower our sales teams in pivotal segments.
Your findings will be shared with the Director of Cloud and Control Product Strategy, enabling collaborative work with the Q-SYS Marketing team to refine messaging and execute product launches effectively.
Base Pay Range: $125,000 – $170,000 per year

Responsibilities
Research & Strategy: Lead strategic marketing efforts for our cloud (Azure/IoT) and ecosystem solution segments, focusing on comprehensive market understanding and insightful analysis. Gather and synthesize market insights, including drivers, size, unmet needs, and key players, through customer engagement, targeted research, and competitive analysis to shape our long-term product development strategies. Forge strong partnerships with regional marketing and sales teams to cultivate a well-rounded, data-driven evaluation of market needs across the Americas, APAC, EMEA, and SAARC regions, ensuring that market requirement documents (MRDs) are effectively documented and shared.
Outbound Execution: Design and implement an impactful GTM strategy that incorporates enticing value propositions and detailed annual marketing execution plans across segments. Collaborate closely with the Q-SYS Marketing and Partner Marketing teams to drive activities including content creation, event marketing, lead generation, brand awareness, and sales support. Provide strategic recommendations on how Q-SYS Partners can align with new product launches while measuring the effectiveness of cloud/ecosystem-focused marketing campaigns.
Cross-Segment Marketing Strategy: Leverage your expertise in SaaS/cloud/ecosystem narratives to provide insights on Q-SYS products and solutions, impacting all targeted segments.
Sales Enablement: Lead the charge in developing materials for segment sales enablement and training for end-users in the Cloud/Ecosystem arena. Ensure company-wide visibility into the product development roadmap through diverse communication channels.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of go-to-market strategies tailored for SaaS and cloud products.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, product management, or market intelligence.
- At least 3 years of direct involvement with Microsoft Azure and IoT automation marketing solutions.
- Proven ability in mapping and optimizing customer journeys specifically for IoT products.
- Familiarity with leading AI tools for data-driven research and informed decision-making.
- Exceptional networking skills to build and nurture relationships across various organizational levels.
- A balance between analytical prowess and innovative thinking, thriving in a data-centric environment.
- This role is highly autonomous; as a new function within the organization, the ideal candidate will be comfortable defining the roadmap.
- Outstanding communication and influence skills, effectively conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
