    Senior People Partner

    The Role

    Reporting to the CPO, you will be a key member of the People Experience team, delivering world class People strategies and initiatives globally.

    We like to do things differently in the People team so you need to be ready to think differently and tackle old challenges in a new way.

    This role will have responsibility for a large client group and will lead or contribute to company-wide projects.

    The People Experience (PX) team are a group of multidisciplinary experts responsible for shaping the employee experience of our MVFers. We have expertise in:

    • Health and Wellbeing
    • Reward and Benefits
    • Payroll
    • Operations and Compliance

    Responsibilities:

    Business Partnering

    • Partnering with commercial client groups (Sales & CCN) which will involve working across all levels, including with Director and C-Suite stakeholders
    • Acting as a champion of MVF’s culture by delivering pragmatic commercial advice that does not compromise our culture or aim of delivering an outstanding People Experience.
    • Working with stakeholders and People Team colleagues, develop, implement and measure the success of relevant innovative People Plans for the client groups, ensuring there is alignment to the overall People Team Roadmap
    • Lead or support employee engagement initiatives within client groups or company-wide
    • Manage organisational change programmes within your client groups including (but not limited to) any organisation design or redundancy programmes
    • Support M&A activity, specifically managing the integration of new team members in to your client groups and acting as an ambassador of our culture during any M&A process.
    • Working with the Chief People Officer, lead the Talent Management process within your client groups by working with directors to identify top talent and with the L&D Partner to determine solutions that develop MVF’s future leaders.
    • Support the probation process across your client group, working with Talent Acquisition to ensure that quality of new hires remains high.
    • Coach and train managers to manage performance effectively and to apply commercially viable performance improvement measures where necessary.
    • Working with your client group and across the People Team, develop, implement and regularly review Career Pathways to ensure that MVFers know what career journey is possible at MVF.
    • Partner with our Remuneration Committee and Reward Partner to deliver the quarterly salary review processes for your client groups.
    • Facilitate relevant modules of our Management Development Academy.
    • Responsible for all employee relations matters for the client group including managing disciplinary/grievance issues. You will also support disciplinaries/grievances beyond your own client group (for example where an objective People Team member is required)
    • Identifying areas of legal and financial risk (employment – UK and international) and interpreting legal advice into practical costed action plans. (US project)
    • Oversee and risk assess all employee relations matters and handle without prejudice discussions if needed.
    • Work in collaboration with the Talent Team to develop training to support the growth of MVF and MVFers
    • Advise on absence issues and case manage any long-term absences in conjunction with our Health and Wellbeing Advisor.

    HRMS

    • Working with other People Team members, ensure the HRMS is kept up to date with all People related changes within your client group.
    • Develop reporting from the HRMS including key metrics to inform and support business decisions and to analyse the success of interventions and initiatives.
    • Use the HRMS data to generate valuable insights into People team and wider business initiatives.

    People Team Roadmap Projects

    • Lead and/or support key People Team Roadmap projects and priorities (which may change on a quarterly basis and will typically be company-wide rather than client specific)
