    Join our dynamic team as a Senior Health, Safety, and Environment Director at CBRE, where you will lead the charge in developing and executing impactful health, safety, and environmental initiatives for our valued clients. This pivotal role sits within our Environment Health and Safety function, tasked with creating robust programs that protect both employees and surrounding communities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership to your team, overseeing employee training, development, and performance evaluations. Take the reins in recruitment and hiring to ensure we build a talented workforce.

    • Effectively coordinate daily team operations by establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and facilitating cross-training among staff members.

    • Set and monitor departmental timelines and objectives, offering guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth.

    • Authorize all final updates to playbooks and procedures, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach to Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives.

    • Craft strategic risk management plans to proactively avert potential incidents and elevate safety standards.

    • Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating with government agencies and health, safety, and environmental organizations.

    • Deliver comprehensive reports to executive management regarding health, safety, and environmental compliance, trends, and performance metrics, ensuring all regulatory standards are met across accounts.

    • Leverage your extensive knowledge of industry practices to drive financial and operational performance across disciplines.

    • Exemplify CBRE’s RISE values through your leadership and negotiation skills with senior management, clients, and external stakeholders to reach strategic agreements.

    • Innovate new methods, processes, and standards that can be applied across various job functions.

    • Address complex business challenges by applying advanced critical thinking to find effective resolutions.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, alongside 12-15 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and hands-on experience may also be considered.

    • Proven experience in staff management, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation is highly desirable.

    • Strong communication skills to convey complex information sensitively and handle performance discussions effectively.

    • Leadership capabilities that inspire your team to meet and exceed operational targets across various departments.

    • Adeptness in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    • Exceptional organizational skills complemented by a natural curiosity and a solution-oriented approach.

    • Advanced mathematical skills to perform complex calculations, including percentages and financial metrics.

    • Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for future visa sponsorship.

    Compensation for this position ranges from $160,000 to $180,000 per year, with the final offer depending on your qualifications and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses in line with CBRE’s benefits program.
