Your Role:

Translation Quality (40%)

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead discovery sessions to craft robust translation quality assurance strategies that encompass every phase of the translation lifecycle. Partner with various stakeholders to ensure that our translation goals are seamlessly integrated with the broader content vision. You’ll collaborate with Translation and Terminology Specialists to maintain terminology accuracy, keeping our content relevant and precise. Additionally, you’ll team up with the Content Strategy group to ensure that our source materials are translation-ready. Coordinate with global teams to implement quality initiatives, conduct audits, and organize reviews to uphold standards across all regions.

Translation Memory Maintenance & Analytics (35%)

Leverage your analytical skills to evaluate performance metrics and uncover opportunities for enhancement. You’ll conduct thorough translation memory analyses, compiling inventories and audits to ensure our translation practices align with industry standards and best practices, driving continual improvement.

Documentation & Training (25%)

Craft essential processes, comprehensive documentation, style guides, and training materials for content creators, linguists, editors, and in-country reviewers, ensuring that our translations meet the highest quality and consistency standards. Educate stakeholders on translation quality best practices and adapt our Localization Quality Assurance procedures to reflect the latest industry trends. Keep the Localization Manager and Translation and Terminology specialists informed of any developments in translation practices. You may also be tasked with additional duties as necessary.

Your Qualifications:

You possess 5-7 years of relevant experience and hold a Bachelor’s degree in English, Localization and Translation, Marketing, or a related field. Flexibility for occasional travel (0-15%) and overnight stays is required, along with a valid passport. Proficiency in at least one foreign language, both verbal and written, is essential for success in this role.
