    We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Legal Assistant to join our team in a remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing high-level paraprofessional and administrative support within our Legal Department, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and the exercise of independent judgment. A significant aspect of your responsibilities will involve preparing essential materials for Prime’s board of directors.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Compile, coordinate, and upload meeting agendas and materials for our Board of Directors.

    • Contribute to the development and scheduling of legal training initiatives throughout the organization.

    • Offer comprehensive administrative support for general office tasks including: executing special projects, managing phone communications, calendar appointments, travel coordination, expense reporting, and organizing department events.

    • Draft routine correspondence, proofread, and organize vital litigation and transactional documents such as pleadings and discovery materials while ensuring proper routing of correspondence.

    • Oversee administrative tasks related to departmental contracts including maintaining electronic and physical files and managing the legal mailbox.

    • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Legal Department’s goals.

    Qualifications

    • A high school diploma from an accredited institution or equivalent GED.

    • At least 2 years of experience in a legal or compliance position.

    • A minimum of 2 years in an administrative or departmental coordination role.

    • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the requirement of work visa or residency sponsorship.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business or a legal secretarial certification.

    • 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years within a legal department, law firm, or government agency.

    • Extensive knowledge and experience with legal terminology and board practices.

    • Prior experience in pharmacy benefit management, managed care, or other healthcare-related organizations is a plus.

    Essential Skills

    • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

    • Proactive and self-directed approach with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).

    • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in consolidating information into executive summaries, spreadsheets, and reports.

    • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.

    • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

    Physical Demands

    • Must have the flexibility to work overtime as necessary.

    • Primarily required to sit, utilize hands, and engage in verbal communication.

    • May occasionally need to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or lift up to 25 pounds.

    • Visual acuity to perform tasks that require depth perception and focus adjustments is necessary.

    All employees must adhere to security protocols relevant to their roles and comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies.

    Compensation for this position ranges from $25.48 to $40.87, dependent on experience and relevant skills.
