Overview
We are in search of an experienced Product Marketing Manager to be an integral part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the growth initiatives for the Blackhawk Originals, branded gift card, and Open Loop (Visa/MC) offerings by developing and executing compelling integrated marketing campaigns. You will collaborate closely with teams across advertising, promotions, operations, sales, legal/risk management, product management, and external agencies, providing product line marketing expertise and guidance.
The ideal candidate will showcase their creativity and enthusiasm for the gifting industry. This position demands a collaborative team player with strong organizational and project management skills. We seek a leader who is proactive, capable of achieving quick wins, and committed to cross-functional teamwork. This pivotal role within the marketing department will be supported by creative, content, marketing operations, and external agencies.
Responsibilities
As the subject matter expert (SME) on multi-branded gift card products, including Open Loop offerings, you will engage internally and externally with clients, partners, and agencies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing deep market insights through sales data, market research, consumer insights, and competitive analysis.
- Creating comprehensive, consumer-focused annual marketing plans that foster engagement across all channels, enhancing brand awareness, consumer consideration, purchase behavior, loyalty, and advocacy.
- Monitoring and analyzing campaign KPIs, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal performance.
- Championing the brand’s integrity, ensuring all marketing messages and promotions reinforce brand equity and align with positioning and personality, while advocating for the brand’s philosophy throughout the organization.
- Formulating and enhancing the positioning and branding for new products within the portfolio, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to launch insightful products that resonate with consumers and meet key market needs.
- Designing and implementing the Go-to-Market strategy, facilitating all launch components across cross-functional teams, including sales presentations, marketing campaigns, legal reviews, accounting considerations, and channel optimizations.
- Formulating a marketing strategy to enhance offline-to-online conversion for the product portfolio, driving consumer engagement effectively.
- Overseeing the Blackhawk Originals marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources across working and non-working dollars.
- Tracking brand health metrics and performance across various demographics and market segments through established scorecards and brand trackers.
- Managing daily operations of the portfolio, addressing ad hoc sales requests, presentations, trade marketing requirements, and partnership inquiries as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven B2C/D2C marketing experience encompassing all facets of the marketing ecosystem.
- History of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns that yield impactful business outcomes.
- Expertise in managing agency relationships and internal creative collaborations effectively.
- Exceptional leadership and project management capabilities, adept at overseeing agencies, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects at once while maintaining autonomy and facilitating effective communication and problem-solving.
- Strong analytical acumen coupled with a data-driven approach.
- An entrepreneurial mindset.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Prioritization skills focused on high-impact projects with a sense of urgency.
- An MBA degree is preferred, alongside 4-6 years of experience in product marketing or brand management in a B2C or D2C context.
- Experience in fintech and global markets is a plus.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range for U.S. employees (excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, and South Dakota) between $81,660.00 and $110,250.00, and for California residents, a range of $101,660.00 to $137,250.00. Your salary will be determined based on various factors, including education, experience, and certifications.
