Become a Key Player as a Senior Software Engineer!
Are you excited by the prospect of developing and maintaining advanced cloud platforms? We invite you to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer, where you will be instrumental in advancing the platform that underpins our innovative ScriptRunner Cloud products.
About the Position:
In this role, you will lead the charge in implementing continuous integration and deployment, using your innovative problem-solving skills to fulfill customer needs. You will be part of a vibrant team managing our core technology infrastructure, with ample opportunity to establish build pipelines, select web server technologies, design hosting architectures, and organize repositories.
Your Main Duties Will Include:
- Investigating and resolving intricate issues, pinpointing root causes to avert future incidents.
- Conducting research and documenting solutions while navigating the constraints of Atlassian’s Connect and Forge platforms.
- Designing systems and architectures to deliver scalable solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Building and testing serverless applications, establishing application stacks, and crafting automated deployment strategies.
- Migrating high-traffic systems to new architectures without disrupting service.
- Monitoring and debugging services, configuring essential alerts, and analyzing logs for performance optimization.
- Assessing systems for operational reliability and identifying areas for enhancement.
What We Are Seeking:
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing systems at scale using AWS services (ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3 SQS, SNS).
- In-depth knowledge of high-availability, fault-tolerant, scalable distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong skills in organization, prioritization, and communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
- Comprehension of serverless and microservices architectures with REST APIs.
- Innovative and out-of-the-box thinking.
- A track record of mentoring and supporting colleagues.
