    We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Adult Social Care Senior Solicitor to join our dedicated team in Stafford. With a competitive daily rate ranging from £370 to £450, this role offers the flexibility of a hybrid or fully remote working environment, allowing you to balance your work and life commitments effectively.

    In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in providing legal support to our Adult Social Care Team. Your expertise in Adult Social Care legislation, particularly within a local authority context, will enable you to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.

    Key qualifications include:

    • Proven experience in handling various matters related to Adult Social Care.
    • A strong understanding of current legislation and regulations.

    While the preferred arrangement is to attend the office every Wednesday to foster team collaboration, we are open to fully remote work for the right candidate. Initial onboarding and equipment collection will occur in-office, and you will be responsible for returning equipment at the conclusion of your assignment.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a variety of important tasks, including:

    • Managing s21A applications
    • Addressing Ordinary Residence matters
    • Navigating Court of Protection cases
    • Overseeing funding and charges issues
    • Challenging local authority decisions
    • Resolving healthcare funding disputes
    • Handling Displacement of Nearest Relative cases
    • Managing S.16 applications and Judicial Reviews
    • Advocating for best interests and resolving related disputes
    • Addressing Mental Capacity issues
    • Engaging with Inherent Jurisdiction matters
    • Facilitating the transition from child social care to adult services
    • Managing deprivation of liberty cases

    Familiarity with a case management system, particularly Iken Cloud, along with time recording experience, is highly preferred. You are expected to adhere to Lexcel standards throughout your work.
