    In the role of Advisory Services, Supply Chain Senior Consultant, you will act as a strategic advisor and project leader for healthcare clients, with a focus on delivering cost savings, enhancing operational efficiencies, and transforming supply chains. This client-focused position requires a hands-on approach, overseeing projects from initial analysis to successful execution, while partnering closely with hospital leadership, supply chain teams, and clinical stakeholders.

    As a Senior Consultant, you will be instrumental in achieving measurable improvements in key areas such as strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract optimization, value analysis, and process enhancements. You will also contribute to internal initiatives, share knowledge with peers, and drive the continual improvement of consulting methodologies.

    This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. as you tackle significant challenges.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Client Delivery & Project Execution:

    • Address client inquiries and manage deliverables for supply chain managed services engagements, ensuring high service quality and timely execution in accordance with contractual obligations.
    • Prepare and present clear updates to leadership at client hospital sites as well as internal leadership teams.
    • Conduct comprehensive spend analysis, lead supplier negotiations, optimize contracts, and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to realize cost savings.
    • Actively drive sourcing initiatives and liaise with suppliers, vendors, and GPOs to maximize client outcomes.
    • Support governance efforts, value analysis, and foster physician alignment.
    • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations that summarize findings, financial implications, and suggested actions.
    • Track progress towards savings targets, manage project timelines, and provide regular status updates to clients and leadership.

    Internal Collaboration & Methodology Support:

    • Contribute to the enhancement of internal tools, frameworks, and consulting methodologies informed by on-field experiences and client feedback.
    • Engage in peer knowledge sharing, develop case studies, and participate in lessons-learned sessions to bolster team expertise.
    • Assist with internal training initiatives and serve as a knowledge resource for junior team members, sharing your insights.
    • Support strategic internal projects and initiatives aimed at operational improvements and thought leadership.

    Qualifications Required:

    • A minimum of 3 years of healthcare supply chain experience in areas such as consulting, hospital operations, GPOs, or supplier roles that involve spend analysis, supplier negotiations, contract optimization, and strategic sourcing efforts that drive cost efficiency.
    • At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in spearheading healthcare supply chain cost savings initiatives, including sourcing and supplier negotiations.
    • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis).
    • Proven ability to create executive-level presentations and relay complex information effectively to C-suite audiences.
    • Exceptional multi-tasking skills to manage numerous projects, workstreams, and client relationships effectively.
    • Comfort in navigating healthcare supply chain data, contracts, and supplier dynamics.
    • Willingness to travel up to 75% for client or internal meetings.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Lean Process Improvement (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).
    • Experience leading complex supply chain transformation projects in hospital settings.
    • Proven experience in redefining supply chain methodologies and evaluation frameworks.
    • Familiarity with value analysis, physician preference items (PPI), purchased services, and GPO alignment.
    • Experience with ERP systems (such as Workday, Oracle, Infor) or supply chain analytics platforms.

    The salary for this position ranges from $89,800 to $176,700 annualized based on full-time employment. Compensation is influenced by various factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
