Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and commissioning of EDM and laser machinery.
- Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance operations at client sites.
- Oversee equipment maintenance within the manufacturing facility.
- Provide installation and commissioning assistance for new systems and technical enhancements.
- Deliver technical support and training to both internal staff and external clients.
- Offer advanced technical and software support to field teams.
- Facilitate software updates and assist with retrofitting initiatives.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will possess robust skills in electrical and electronic maintenance, with a background supported by formal, time-served training.
- Experience with machine tool software and control systems is essential, particularly within Beckhoff or Delta Tau environments.
- Familiarity with PLCs in a machine tool context or similar field is required.
- A readiness and enthusiasm for extensive travel across North America is necessary.
