Join our innovative team as we seek a passionate Social Media Community Manager to help us cultivate vibrant and engaged online communities across various social media platforms. This part-time role—ranging from 20 to 25 hours a week, from August to December—with the possibility of extension, offers a compensation of $35-$38 per hour W2. This is a remote position available to candidates located within the United States, specifically in the EST/CST time zones.
As our Social Media Community Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing brand communication and customer engagement. Your mission will be to actively foster interactions and represent our brand’s unique voice while building strong relationships with our members.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Monitor and manage our brand’s social media channels, ensuring timely responses to customer comments and messages with approved messaging.
– Escalate urgent customer service issues or sensitive topics to the appropriate internal teams.
– Engage positively with consumers through both organic and paid content to reinforce our brand community.
– Appropriately share user-generated content (UGC) or relevant tagged posts on our Facebook or Instagram pages.
– Collaborate in the creation of a comprehensive social media brand FAQ that addresses customer service responses across platforms.
– Participate and contribute to conversations around brand events and offline brand initiatives.
– Keep an eye on competitor activities and social media engagement trends.
– Track organic engagement metrics, offering insights into community preferences and interests.
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
– At least two years of relevant experience in community management, social media, or digital marketing, especially within CPG, retail, or spirits industries.
– Profound knowledge of major social media platforms and community-building tactics.
– Excellent writing and communication abilities.
– Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools like Sprout, Hootsuite, Iconosquare, and Meta Suite.
– Ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
– A proactive, solutions-focused attitude combined with strong attention to detail.
