We are seeking a dedicated Web Accessibility Specialist to spearhead our accessibility testing and auditing efforts. In this pivotal role, you will utilize both manual and automated testing tools, along with assistive technologies, to ensure that our digital content meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and other essential standards and regulations.
Your primary responsibilities will include performing comprehensive accessibility evaluations through a combination of automated methods and manual testing, leveraging assistive technologies to assess compliance. You will be responsible for developing, documenting, and managing test plans, cases, and scripts across various projects, tailored to meet software specifications and design requirements. Additionally, you will execute functional, end-to-end, and regression testing to guarantee the performance, reliability, and quality of our applications.
As an advocate for best practices in accessibility, you will create and update test scripts, standards, and playbooks, and document the defects and areas for improvement, prioritizing critical ADA issues. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with Business Analysts and Clients to gather requirements and deliver valuable feedback. You’ll act as a subject matter expert in accessibility testing for both web and mobile applications, engaging in system designs and supporting usability testing and research initiatives.
Moreover, you’ll have the opportunity to lead ad-hoc training sessions focused on ADA awareness, driving innovative solutions to enhance accessibility.

- Comprehensive knowledge of ADA tools and standards, including WAVE, JAWS, axe, and ANDI.
- At least 5 years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies, ensuring our digital offerings achieve enterprise conformance levels (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 level AA) within agile frameworks.
- A knack for providing practical solutions for testers and development teams, applying established best practices.
- Proven ability to guide and lead QA testers effectively.
- Proficient in assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover, and TalkBack, along with various testing tools across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems.
- Certification as a Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) is highly desirable (please upload your certification).
