    In this position, you will actively pursue and engage potential enterprise customers, convey MinIO’s compelling value proposition, and close impactful deals.     WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • **Drive New Business Acquisition:** Take the initiative to prospect and identify new customer opportunities throughout the US and Europe. Formulate and implement strategies to generate leads, arrange meetings, and successfully close new business deals.
    • **Master MinIO’s Value Proposition:** Become proficient in articulating MinIO’s unique offerings. Tailor your communication to resonate with potential clients, effectively demonstrating how our solutions address their needs and drive meaningful business results.
    • **Manage the Sales Pipeline:** Oversee and propel the entire sales process from generating leads to closing deals. Maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients to ensure consistent business growth and the achievement of your sales goals.
    • **Develop Client Relationships:** Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with prospective customers. Gain insight into their business challenges and illustrate how MinIO’s solutions can fulfill their requirements.
    • **Collaborate Across Teams:** Partner closely with various teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to create aligned strategies that enhance the overall customer experience. Your contributions are essential as we shift from a product-centric sales model to a more sales-focused growth approach.
    • **Provide Accurate Forecasting:** Ensure transparency and accuracy in forecasting your sales activities and achievements. Regularly report on your sales pipeline and performance metrics to facilitate ongoing improvements and strategic planning.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • **Proven Sales Experience:** A minimum of 7 years in sales, showcasing a successful track record of prospecting and closing new customers. Demonstrated ability to consistently surpass sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
    • **Startup Experience:** Relevant experience in a startup environment, adept at addressing the unique challenges and opportunities presented by a rapidly changing landscape.
    • **Focus on New Business Development:** Extensive experience in pinpointing and converting new enterprise business prospects. Ability to craft and implement effective lead generation and deal closure strategies.
    • **Enterprise Sales Expertise:** Background in selling to enterprise-level customers, with a proven ability to engage and persuade key decision-makers. Familiarity with lengthy sales cycles and high-value transactions is essential.
    • **Technical Domain Knowledge:** Previous sales experience in the technology sector, notably within cloud-native technologies, B2B SaaS, or data infrastructure solutions. Understanding the challenges and needs of potential clients in these areas is vital.
    • **Growth-Focused Mindset:** Experience in early-stage or growth-phase companies is advantageous. Demonstrated capability to thrive in fast-paced, results-oriented environments.
    • **Challenger Sales Approach:** Proficient in recognizing and challenging the status quo. Ability to present clear business value and execute successful proof of concepts (POCs) while closing competitive deals.
    • **Collaborative Team Player:** Capacity to effectively engage across various departments, utilizing strong team dynamics and leveraging our outstanding product to achieve sales success.
