Join our dynamic team as we seek a passionate and driven sales leader to elevate our thriving inside sales division. Historically, the responsibilities of "Sales Manager" have been shared across our executive team, focusing on platform development and resource creation for our brokers. With our platform now finely tuned, we are eager to bring on board a dedicated Sales Manager who can provide focused leadership, nurture our sales talent, and propel us to greater heights.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing our sales team while ensuring adherence to high administrative standards, including meticulous tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and proactive data management in Salesforce. You will also deliver essential sales coaching that includes objection handling, tone improvement, and insights into sales psychology. Your leadership will cultivate a motivated and high-spirited remote team culture, and as a key member of our Departmental Management Team, you will report directly to the COO on departmental performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the success of our Inside Sales team by boosting meeting set rates with potential prospects.
- Inspire team members to leverage various prospecting strategies, including cold calls, emails, video outreach, and more, tailored to their individual strengths.
- Enhance our existing sales training LMS to onboard new hires swiftly and refresh current team members on various sales methodologies.
- Ensure team accountability in following established procedures, updating CRM data, and achieving KPIs.
- Provide targeted coaching on key sales techniques, focusing on objection handling and communication tone.
- Identify growth opportunities for the department and develop new training methods that support collaboration across our organizational structure.
- Set an example through individual prospecting efforts that can serve as practical training for your team.
- Regularly report departmental KPIs to the COO while generating leads for our Outside Sales efforts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Sales Management and Sales Coaching is essential.
- A solid track record of achieving sales success.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (Outlook, Word, and company communication tools).
- Strong capabilities in conducting regular meetings with the Sales Team.
- Reliable reporting of agreed-upon KPIs to the COO is required.
- Previous experience or knowledge in the insurance sales sector is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Chorus, and Calendly is preferred.
