    The Position
    Become part of a vibrant and expanding multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy as an Intermediate/Senior Electrical Engineer.

    In this role, you will engage in projects across diverse sectors, including commercial, healthcare, education, defense, residential, and community services.

    As an Intermediate/Senior professional, you will lend your expertise in M&E engineering within the built environment, encompassing both design and project management responsibilities.

    Your responsibilities will include:
    • Ensuring all projects meet high technical standards, are completed on schedule, and remain within budget.
    • Engaging in fee-earning projects with a focus on high-level technical design.
    • Assisting the team leader with engineering development and cost-effective solutions.
    • Communicating with clients to define project briefs and budget considerations.
    • Creating detailed specifications and drawings per client specifications.
    • Analyzing received tenders and preparing comprehensive reports and recommendations.
    • Overseeing project management from start to finish on-site.
    • Monitoring site activities against specifications and finalizing contractor accounts.
    • Conducting inspections of existing installations and drafting condition reports.
    • Preparing monthly fee invoicing.
    • Meeting annual and monthly fee targets as coordinated by the office partner.

    Essential Skills, Experience, and Attributes:
    • A degree or master’s in Engineering.
    • Membership in the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and/or The Energy Institute (or equivalents) is preferable.
    • Pursuit of Chartered Engineer status is a plus.
    • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
    • A proven ability to meet deadlines consistently.
    • Proficiency in IES (Mechanical) or Amtech (Electrical) design software.
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.
    • Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, CIBSE guides, building regulations, and best practices.
